Overview

I headed the social media efforts and greater marketing strategy for Galactic Battleground, an indie-arcade game. Amongst our small team, we developed a launch campaign that consisted of arcade conference appearances, arcade pop-ups, and tournaments. Much of the marketing strategy was experiential-focused due to the physical nature of arcade games, so our goals with social were to develop a digital presence and increase overall discoverability.

We experienced early successes in the weeks following the launch of the game, successfully gaining coverage of the game by Minneapolis TV station, WCCO, via their social channels.
